From a birds eye view…Chi Kung, Craniosacral Therapy, Kinesiology

Chi Kung exercises empower people to be able to support themselves in maintaining a centred and healthy state. By increasing body and chi awareness through movement, stillness, and meditation, the internal flow of chi (vital energy) increases, along with health. Chi Kung movements are very simple and easy to do, and facilitate stretching and mobilising the body and its joints.  With practice the continuous flow of chi can be consciously perceived.

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy facilitates the body’s own intelligence to actively balance the body as a whole, so all areas affected by a condition are taken into account, rather than just addressing part of the problem by looking only at symptomatic areas. This allows the whole body to be brought into alignment, by facilitating the body’s intelligence to self-correct.  A cascade of adjustments then takes place, down to the cellular level. Craniosacral therapy helps to resolve issues by freeing the body tissue layers to work fluidly with each other, promoting a healthy and dynamic feeling, in both a physical and emotional way.

Kinesiology is very good at targeting specific issues, while accessing and supporting the balance of all factors inhibiting recovery. Information about the body’s current state is established through muscle monitoring, allowing a wide range of areas (e.g. physical, emotional, neurological, environmental, dietary, etc.) to be explored.  The optimal technique to re-establish balance is then determined (for example traditional Chinese medicine techniques, tuning forks, essences, muscle release techniques or craniosacral therapy). Harmony is re-established when the conscious & the unconscious refocus and work together fluidly.
